On Friday, February 26, 2021, from 10 am to 1 pm, there will be a presentation of the Jean Monnet EVA course- "Environmental Valuation and Accounting".
The aim of the course is to provide state-of-the-art knowledge and tools on economic and ecological accounting and environmental valuation using as main reference the:
- strategies
- policy initiatives
- standards established by the European Union
The course, coordinated by Prof. Barbara Cavalletti, is structured in 4 didactic units and 4 seminars held by selected professionals who integrate the theoretical concepts learned with application examples concerning the existing policies, strategies and methodologies in Europe.
The course is free of charge and is open to:
- PhD students
- Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences students
- Economics students
- researchers
- civil servants
- students of other disciplines with proven professional or educational experience in economic-environmental issues.
Participants will receive acertificate of attendance (minimum attendance 80%).
In addition, UniGe students will be able to obtain 3 or 6 CFU (valid on the credits of their choice) if they attend, respectively, at least 24 hours (lectures) or 48 hours (lectures + 2 seminars).
N.B. To obtain the CFU and the certificate it will be necessary to pass an exam.
