The Order of Geologists of the Abruzzo Region and the Majella National Park, in memory of Prof. Paolo Scandone, have established a prize.

Majella National Park, in memory of Prof. Paolo Scandone, have established a prize

for new graduates who, in the period between 1 January 2020 and 30 April

April 30, 2021, have discussed a thesis on topics of geology

structural geology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, biostratigraphy in the territories of

of national or regional parks, as well as of UNESCO World Geoparks,

of the Italian territory.

The deadline for participation is May 31, 2021.
