Many generations of computer scientists have grown and developed through his teachings and were fortunate to be able to appreciate a professor who was always prepared, ready and willing to help.
He was an enthusiast and an expert on even the most advanced information technologies. Giuseppe was never afraid to speak out on the most varied of topics and never failed to make critical contributions to the various initiatives and evolutions of the course.
We will miss Giuseppe's rough edges.
