The University of Genoa and AA. Atoll Council (Maldives) have signed a MoU - Memorandum of Understanding to implement Blue Economy projects in the framework of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
The agreement, the result of collaboration between the University of Genoa's Sea Centre and ICT4SIDS, provides for the mobilization of researchers, scientists and students from the University of Genoa to AA. Atoll and places UniGe at the forefront of the transition of the Maldivian islands towards the blue economy.
