Applications are now open for the first edition of the Leali Young Prize, in memory of Cristina Visintini, a journalist who died in August 2021 and who has always been committed to the fight against precarious employment for freelance journalists and to the defense of their rights.
The Award is proposed within the VIII edition of the Festival of Journalism (from June 3 to 9 and from June 14 to 18, 2022 in Ronchi dei Legionari) and is dedicated to students aged between 18 and 30 years. Candidates must submit a journalistic project, ranging from newspaper article, to video investigation, to reportage, on the theme of legality, starting from the quote by Piero Calamandrei: "Freedom is an ineliminable condition of legality; where there is no freedom there can be no legality".
