The University of Genoa has been afferent to EERA since 2013, with the research group of Barbara Bosio, UniGe professor of Applied Physical Chemistry.
Over the years, thanks to the group's work, UniGe has strengthened its presence in EERA with the collaboration of researchers and researchers from the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering - DICCA, the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry - DCCI, the Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management and Transportation Engineering - DIME, and the Department of Marine, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering - DITEN.
Since 2023, UniGe has joined EERA as an Athenaeum, with the involvement of the Energy Savings Working Group, coordinated by Stefano Massucco, the rector's delegate for energy, and with the support of the pro-rector for sustainability, Adriana Del Borghi, and the UniGe Commission on Environmental Sustainability.
