The fourth stage of the Ecoforum Tour tells the story of the actions taken by UniGe to improve its environmental footprint, a commitment born in 2014 following the agreement between the University and the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea.

Concrete actions in favour of environmental sustainability have been developed on 5 themes:

  • climate change
  • energy
  • mobility
  • the production of waste
  • education for sustainability

In addition to the agreement signed with the Ministry of the Environment to become "plastic free", UniGe has made an ambitious commitment to become "carbon neutral" by 2030, or to cancel and offset all greenhouse gas emissions by that date.
