Dear students,

the situation in which this academic year begins is particular and complex, and we had to deal with a very difficult space situation. In the first semester, classes will take place remotely, mostly through the Teams platform that many of you have been using during the last academic year.

It was decided to organize an introductory lesson in attendance, which will cover the teaching of the first semester that has the largest number of students (HISTORY OF CONTEMPORARY ART), using the large classroom of San Salvatore in Piazza Sarzano, on Friday, September 25 at the times indicated at the link.

From the following days the lessons will start in remote mode.

For a limited number of students, it will be possible to participate in the workshop of INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR CULTURAL GOODS, nine meetings on Thursday between 9 and 11 a.m., starting on 8 October. Since the workshop is limited in number, the participating students will be selected on the basis of the order in which an email request is sent to the teacher, Prof. Massimo Albanese (massimo.albanese@unige.it).

Some workshop activities in presence for very small groups of students may be proposed by the teachers of some disciplines to the students enrolled in their courses.

It is possible, as usual, to refer to the tutores, who for the academic year 2020-2021 are Mirna Bosi, Flora Cordone, Martina Federici, who can be contacted at these e-mail addresses:

  • mirna.bosi@gmail.com
  • 4236322@studenti.unige.it
  • martinafederici93@gmail.com

It is possible to send them an email to arrange appointments on Teams platform, by phone or in presence (respecting the rules of distance and safety). The meetings in presence will start from September 14th, in the classrooms of Via Balbi 2 and 4.

It should be noted that this year the degree course activates some new teachings, which third year students may be interested in including as exams of their choice: the teachings of "Introduction to company profiles for the management of cultural heritage" and "Bibliography and librarianship", given in the first semester, and the teaching of "Art of Liguria in the Middle Ages", which will be held instead in the second semester.
