Dear students,
welcome to the degree course in Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
The situation in which this academic year begins is complex, and we had to deal with a very difficult space situation. The lessons of the first semester will be held at a distance, but we have planned some introductory meetings in presence, to allow you to meet in person the teachers and classmates (as far as possible, compatibly with the distance rules in force) and also to give you indications on the use of the Teams platform, through which many lessons will be held.
The detailed calendar of the meetings - which are different depending on the chosen curriculum, and, for the artistic curriculum, also depending on the initial of the surname - is available, together with information on the locations, at the useful link "DIDACTICA IN TEMPO DI COVID-19".
In summary, as you can see, the meetings for the curricula of the Artistic Heritage and Archival and Book Heritage are held on Thursday, October 1, the meetings for the curriculum of the Archaeological Heritage on Friday, October 2. From the following days the online lessons will start, according to the timetable that will be published on the Easyacademy portal (useful link "HOURS OF THE LESSONS").
Some workshop activities in the presence of very small groups of students may be proposed by teachers of archaeological disciplines to those enrolled in their teaching.
In order to help new students to orient themselves in the university context, tutores, students further along the study path, are available to help new colleagues, for example by giving information about the teachings, and providing support for the compilation of the study plan (to be completed in October). It is possible to send them an email to arrange appointments on Teams platform, by phone or, from September 14th, in presence, in the classrooms of Via Balbi 2 and 4.
We remind you that new subscribers have to undergo a Verification of knowledge preparatory to the start of the study path and an English Verification (more information at the useful links).
The veracity of knowledge will take place on October 5 from 9 am to 11 am in online mode on Microsoft's Teams platform, which will be accessed with a code that will be provided a few days before, by email to the address given by the university to each student. The test consists in the written elaboration of a summary and a comment on a prose text. The following are evaluated: comprehension of the text and language; correctness and mastery of written Italian.
