The CIRCULARIZE project has been awarded a €1.5 million ERC Starting Grant 2023.
The working group of Alessandro Pellis, principal investigator of the project and UniGe researcher, aspires to create new synthetic technologies based on sustainable chemo-enzymatic processes to develop a collection of 100 percent renewable polymers that have "smart" characteristics and are biodegradable.
All the details are on UniGe.life, the Athenaeum magazine.
