The first meeting of the Steering Committee of the CLASTER - Compatibilité et Durabilité Bruit portuair project, of which the Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management and Transport Engineering - DIME of the University of Genoa is the lead partner, took place in Bastia, hosted by the University of Corsica Pasquale Paoli.

The event brought together experts, researchers and institutional partners involved in the initiative, with the aim of taking stock of the results achieved and planning the actions to be taken for the success of the project.

The CLASTER project aims to improve the acoustic climate in urban areas close to ports, reducing the noise impact induced by port sound sources to the benefit of the populations living in these areas and stakeholders (public administrations, port authorities, workers and private companies).

The next meeting of the Steering Committee will take place in Tuscany.
