Nature makes space

The University of Genoa identifies sustainability as one of the strategic lines guiding the development of its institutional missions, together with innovation, inclusion, internationalisation and quality. For this reason, embracing the claim "Nature makes space", UniGe is at Euroflora 2025 with two initiatives.

Photo point

Event visitors will find two photo points, at the entrance in Piazzale Kennedy and on the first floor of the Blue Pavilion, where they will be able to take souvenir photos and selfies to be shared on social networks. Shots posted with the hashtag #UniGeFlora can be reposted on the UniGeFlora's official Instagram profile.

Euroflora meets

The Show has scheduled a series of meetings, with free access for Euroflora visitors, on some topics related to the green world:

  • Thursday 24 April, from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm, Leccio-Kennedy Arena: "Fitopolis - The city of plants", conference by Stefano Mancuso, plant neurobiologist, lecturer in general arboriculture and tree cultivation;
  • .
  • Saturday 26 April, from 2 to 3 p.m., Leccio-Kennedy Arena: "Respect", monologue by Federico Quaranta, journalist and television host;
  • Monday 28 April, 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., MSC Arena Ulivo, Marina: "Technical evidence of extinction", lecture by Mario Tozzi, CNR chief researcher, geologist and populariser of science;
  • Tuesday 29 April, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Leccio-Kennedy Arena: "In principio era il suono", meeting with Beppe Vessicchio, conductor and arranger;

The University of Genoa is collaborating with these meetings by introducing guests and providing the public with a desk, close to the meeting venue, to receive information and illustrative material on the University's educational offerings, run by staff from the UniGe Orientation Service.
