In health care, communication between care recipients and service providers is a fundamental requirement along all health care pathways. In this sense, inclusive and effective communication strategies are interventions to counter health inequalities.
The workshop: 'Inclusive or plain language? Inclusive languages for the language of health' aims to improve equity in health care, also in terms of equity of access to information,
reflect on possible strategies to improve communication for health service users, developing shared interprofessional training paths.
This is an open event, aimed at students, service and health service user communication professionals, advocacy organisations and users.
