.
Through the use of salvaged materials and an approach deeply connected to the themes of sustainability and reuse, Melina Riccio gives life to works of extraordinary evocative power. Abandoned objects come back to life to disseminate universal messages of peace, unity, solidarity and respect for the environment.

She has taken part in countless exhibitions at national and international level; among the most significant: 'Noi, quelli della parola che sempre cammina', curated by Gustavo Giacosa and held in Genoa, her adopted city, in September 2010 at the Commenda di Prè, and 'Banditi dell'arte' at the Halle Saint Pierre in Paris, also curated by Gustavo Giacosa, which marked the beginning of her recognition on the international Art Brut scene.
