Proposed in a perspective of continuity with the basic workshops held during the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024 and the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025. 2024/2025, the intermediate workshop of Italian Sign Language (LIS) aims to consolidate the knowledge of those who will take part as well as to bring attention to other specific aspects of the world of LIS.

The workshop will last a total of 40 hours, which will entitle those who pass the final exam to 1, 2 or 3 CFU* as "Other activities". In order to participate in this workshop, it is of course necessary to have already attended and successfully completed the basic workshop during the current or previous academic years.

The lessons will alternate between three teachers and will take place according to a timetable that will be communicated as soon as possible to those enrolled (indicatively, however, on Monday and Tuesday afternoons). Within this workshop, ample space will also be given to tactile LIS (LISt), the variant of LIS used by and with deafblind people; LISt lessons will see the participation of deafblind guests and representatives of the Lega del Filo d'oro (LFO) of Pisa, which will allow for a complete immersion in this world.

Active participation in the workshop is strongly recommended, on pain of non-admission to the final examination.

To register, click here (please note: those who have already completed the form at the beginning of a.a. or recently, please do not fill it out again; only entries from the DLCM, DAFIST and DIRAAS will be accepted). As soon as possible, confirmation e-mails will be sent (to the University's e-mail address indicated in the registration form, which you are kindly requested to check regularly in order to facilitate the completion of all the necessary paperwork) and, on this occasion, the final details will be announced (start of the lectures, schedule of lectures with indication of individual lecturers, days, times and classrooms, etc.).

For any doubts regarding the compilation of study plans, please contact the relevant secretary directly.

* The workshop is open to all students of the DLCM, DAFIST and DIRAAS, but the 3 CFU will be recognised exclusively for the DLCM CdS. As for DAFIST and DIRAAS, the degrees in Philosophy, History, Philosophical Methodologies and Historical Sciences will recognise 2 CFUs, while Modern Literature and Performing Arts will recognise 1 CFU. The other CdS of DAFIST and DIRAAS do not recognise CFUs, but this does not preclude participation in the workshops.
