On 14 February, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Department of Languages will organise the 'Open Doors to Languages' orientation event, which will include the following activities:
- 10 a.m.: presentation of the educational offer of the three-year degree courses in Languages
- 11 a.m.: Workshop "Choose. Choose. Choisir. Why study Languages at university?"
Brief description: This workshop aims to make students think consciously about what it means to choose a degree course; to describe the concepts of vocation and aptitude; to explore the different motivations (instrumental and personal; extrinsic and intrinsic) on the basis of which a particular decision can be made. The workshop also intends to shed light on the reasons why a student should choose to enrol in a degree course in Modern Languages and Cultures, highlighting its interdisciplinary, multicultural and intercomprehensive features.
- 12 noon: guided tour of the teaching facilities by the student tutors
The meeting will take place in room E at the didactic pole in V. delle Fontane.
