The University of Genoa is eighth in Italy, according to the CWUR - Centre for World University Rankings, which has published its ranking of the world's universities (more than 21,000 surveyed) for 2025.
In a general picture that shows a non-positive trend for the Italian university system, with 80% of universities losing ground compared to 2024, UniGe has maintained its absolute rating and its position in the overall ranking constant, confirming itself among the top 300 universities in the world, in the top 1.4% globally of universities.
