The University of Genoa is taking part in the COP30 (Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025) with three international events on sport, youth and environmental sustainability:

- 12 November 'Partnership Platform for Localisation of Sustainable Development Goals: Integrating Sport into Sustainable and Climate Resilient Urban Development'
- 14 November "Nature to meet the climate change challenge: business and urban regeneration"
The presence of the University of Genoa at COP30, with pro-rector Adriana Del Borghi, confirms the university's commitment to sustainability, innovation and international cooperation.
