'Closing the gap' a seminar on mental health and migration

The University of Genoa will host the international seminar "Closing the Gap: Identifying Strategies to Increase Access to Mental Health Services among Migrants in the U.S." on Monday 11 May 2026, from 4-6pm.

The seminar will be attended by Ana Martinez-Donate, Professor and Associate Dean at the Dornsife School of Public Health of Drexel University (USA), public health expert with an established research activity on the social and behavioural determinants of health, with a particular focus on migrant populations.

Introducing the meeting will be Micaela Rossi, Dean of the School of Humanities. Moderated by Cecilia Serena Pace (Department of Education Sciences) and Emilio Di Maria (Department of Health Sciences).
