Friday 12 June from 10.00 a.m., in the Aula Magna of the School of Humanities, the seminar "Imagining a neighbourhood house. Community and urban regeneration".
Since 2025 the Auxilium Foundation, the Il Melograno Cooperative, the School of Humanities and a working group of professors from various departments of the University of Genoa (which has an active agreement with the Auxilium Foundation-Cooperative Il Melograno) have begun to think about a project concerning the renovation and re-functionalisation of the former San Giuseppe School of the Philippine Sisters, located in Via Prè 18.
The idea is to transform the school into a Neighbourhood House involving, led by the Auxilium Foundation, the associative realities, citizens and public bodies, the University, the third sector, with a view to collaborating in the reconstruction of the social fabric of the neighbourhood, more inclusive, safe, sustainable.
