Luca Oneto, a lecturer at the University of Genoa in information processing systems, has been appointed Associate Editor-in-Chief of Neurocomputing, one of the most authoritative and prestigious scientific journals in the field of artificial intelligence.
The appointment, effective from 15 June 2026, was conferred by the journal’s editorial board and recognises the lecturer’s academic standing and the contribution he has made over the years to the editorial activities of Neurocomputing, for which he served as Associate Editor for around ten years.
This appointment attests to the international significance of Oneto’s research and helps to strengthen the University of Genoa’s presence in the leading scientific forums dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies.
