Welcome, everyone!
You are about to embark on a new adventure: to help you take your first steps in university life, at the end of September, the Orientation and Tutoring Committee is organising a series of introductory sessions for LCM freshers.
This will be an opportunity to get your bearings right from the start with regard to lectures, online platforms, deadlines and the many other new aspects you will encounter during your studies. Together with the staff from the Committee, you will be able to find out, in particular:
- how to choose your languages and draw up your study plan;
- what the most important deadlines are that you mustn’t forget;
- which digital platforms to use for teaching;
- how to check the timetable and how to use the EasyAcademy app;
- what services are available to you, where to find the information you need and who to contact for various requirements
- who the student tutors are whom you can turn to for support and advice.
The session will also be an excellent opportunity to get to know your lecturers and discover the course offerings of the various language sections.
In short, this is an event not to be missed if you want to be fully prepared for your first day at university and start finding your feet with greater confidence in the new environment that awaits you!
