The University of Genoa is studying the spread of cholera in Lake Tanganyika in Africa with a scientific expedition funded by the National Geographic Society (USA).
The study was published in the scientific journal ISME Communications and represents, to date, the largest survey ever conducted for the detection of Vibrio cholerae in large tropical lakes.
