A UniGe Architecture student, together with the Chinese Alumni Association of Genoa, organized the shipment to Italy of 6,000 surgical masks, FFP2 and FFP3 respirators, gowns, gloves, and eye protection.
The Association, formed by a group of ex UniGe students now back in China, organized a fundraiser for the purchase of medical equipment, which it then sent to the University. A donation (we quote the exact words of one of the promoters of this initiative) "to help people in need".
Rector Paolo Comanducci opened one of the boxes containing the CE certified masks from Shandong Zhushi Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. and was moved by this gesture of great generosity.
