The Università Italo Francese/Université Franco Italienne (UIF/UFI) is an institution that promotes university and scientific collaboration between Italy and France in the training and research sector.
UIF/UFI has published, for the 2020, the following calls for proposals concerning cooperation between Italian and French universities and research institutions:
- 1ST SCIENTIFIC LABEL 2020 CALL
The 1st Scientific Label 2020 call has been published for Italian-French initiatives of high cultural and scientific value (summer schools, seminars, conferences, language courses, translations, publications...) with a maximum funding of € 2,000.

- UIF/UFI 2020 AWARD
Targeted to candidates from all scientific disciplines, who are invited to present an innovative or research project, focused on the Environment and Sustainable Development in the Italian-French context.
Eligible applicants must be less than 35 years old at the closing date of this call. The prize will have a maximum value of €3,000 and will be intended to cover the costs of dissemination or implementation of the work.

- PRIZE THESIS IN COTUTELA ITALO- FRENCH 2020
For the first year, the Università Italo Francese (UIF) is promoting the Thesis in Cotutela 2020 Award for PhDs who have already received funding under the VINCI Programme in the last two years and whose thesis work in cotutela is judged to be of exceptional quality according to the criteria determined by the Executive Board. In the year 2020, two awards with a value of € 1,500 are up for grabs, which for scientific equity, will be awarded as follows:
- 1 prize for humanities and social sciences
- 1 prize for other areas
