The EMMP course students' itinerary of visiting port terminals in Genoa and Savona continues.

On November 30, the stop involved the first semi-automated terminal in Italy, APM in Vado Ligure. Despite the low temperatures, students had the opportunity to observe in the field the container loading and unloading operations, carried out with the help of advanced and innovative systems. This hands-on experience allowed them to appreciate not only the performance offered by these state-of-the-art technologies, but also to understand the crucial importance of such tools in ensuring the safety of workers engaged in yard activities.
