The third call for applications for 2026 under the MAECI-MUR-CRUI internship programme is now online, offering 377 curricular internships at embassies, consulates, Italian cultural institutes, diplomatic missions and delegations.
Students enrolled on master’s degree programmes and single-cycle master’s degree programmes at participating universities, including UniGe, are eligible to apply. Following changes to the regulations governing entry into the diplomatic service, the call for applications is open to all degree programmes.
The 377 opportunities are distributed as follows:
- 177 posts in embassies
- 91 in consulates
- 64 at Italian cultural institutes
- 44 at diplomatic missions
- 1 at a delegation
The locations are in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania; 22 placements will be carried out remotely.
The placements will begin on 11 January and end on 9 April 2027, with the possibility of an extension for a further month subject to agreement between the parties.
The placement entitles participants to at least 1 credit for each month of activity and, for in-person placements, a minimum expense allowance of 300 euros per month.
