The official starting date of the courses, unless otherwise communicated by the teacher and/or the course of study, is Monday, September 23, 2019.


For the ordinary curriculum, the lessons of the first semester will begin as indicated below.


Beginning of mandatory teachings:

  • 61932 - Physical Chemistry (prof.ssa Marcella Pani): Tuesday, October 1 at 14:00
  • 80274 - Properties of polymers and composites with a polymeric matrix (prof.ssa Maila Castellano): Thursday 17 October, classroom 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • 90484 - Advanced Solid State Physics (Prof. Mario Rocca): Monday 30 September
  • 95287 - English language B2 (prof. James Reynolds): Wednesday 9 October, classroom 4 at 2 p.m.


Beginning of optional teachings:

  • 52511 - Fundamentals of industrial project (prof. Enrico Ravina): Monday 30 September
  • 98776 - Metallurgy of non-ferrous metals (prof. Roberto Spotorno): Wednesday 2 October
  • 62744 - Nanostructures (Prof. Corrado Boragno): Monday 30 September
  • 61930 - Polymer materials laboratory (Prof. Dario Cavallo): Monday 30 September
  • 65943 - Ceramic Materials (prof.ssa Maria Paola Carpanese and prof. Rodolfo Botter): Monday 30 September


The starting date of the teachings of the international curriculum and those taken from other courses of study will not be changed.

So, for example, the teachings changed from the Master's Degree course in Chemical Science will begin on October 21, while those taken from the Master's Degree course in Physics will begin on September 23, as well as the teachings taken from the degree courses of the Polytechnic School.
