PLOS Biology magazine has recently published a ranking of scientists that has raised much interest.

On the basis of parameters related to the citations of scientific articles, the authors of the work have evaluated all researchers who have to their credit at least 5 works surveyed by the Scopus database: about 6,900,000 people.

This operation made it possible to order and publish the names of the first 100,000 scientists, i.e. the top 1.5% of those evaluated.

UniGe is proud that 52 of its researchers, some of whom are retired, are part of such a prestigious and selected group. 6 of them are professors of the CdS in Chemical and Process Engineering and they are:

Guido Busca, Marco Panizza, Renzo Di Felice, Paola Costamagna, Attilio Converti and Gianguido Ramis.
