CyberChallenge.IT, this year just at its third edition, is a training program for young talents from 16 to 23 years old, which aims to reduce the shortage of professionals in the field of information security.
CyberChallenge.IT is the main Italian initiative to prepare the next generation of specialists in this field, called cyberdefenders: experts in communication networks, web architecture, cryptography, etc., who can help companies to protect their IT infrastructures and the digital heritage made up of the data they manage.
Professors Giovanni Lagorio and Marina Ribaudo are our local organizers and have trained the team that will represent UniGe at the national challenge in October.
