The Council of the Course, in the session of June 19, 2020, unanimously reaffirmed the irreplaceable value of teaching in attendance, which will return compatibly with the respect of the conditions of maximum security dictated by the evolution of the pandemic emergency.
Under current conditions, a teaching model is being prepared for the first semester of the 2020/21 academic year:
- distance learning for theoretical-methodological lessons
- provision in presence for teachings of a design nature and that require direct comparison between teachers and students
In any case, all teaching will be guaranteed at a distance for those who are unable to reach the University (students on international mobility, students away from home, or for other reasons). For this purpose, the University of Genoa and the Department are preparing the renewal of the instrumentation and technological equipment of the classrooms.
However, we will be ready to immediately convert this "mixed" mode into full distance teaching in case the health situation should unfortunately worsen.
