Message from the President of the SCI, Prof. Gaetano Guerra.
Starting from November 13, 2020, a series of Scientific Seminars, streamed through the SCI YouTube Channel, which can be reached directly from the website www.soc.chim.it <http://www.soc.chim.it/> (the link to YouTube is clearly visible on the home page at the top left), will be held on Friday starting at 3 pm (30 min, followed by a 10 min discussion).
The first three seminars will be held by the Italian Chemistry Fellows Europe appointed in 2020 (Silvia Bordiga, Gianluca Farinola and Piergiorgio Cozzi), on a weekly basis, also to underline the international recognition shared by the three speakers. We plan to follow, in the coming months, seminars of the winners of the 2020 SCI Medals and other eminent Italian researchers.

A detective in action: catalytic materials under investigation
The Executive Committee of the ICS considers it extremely important to make these Seminars available also to graduates in Chemistry from our various locations. Such telematic seminars, at a time of difficulty of activity in presence, could be a valuable contribution to the training of new generations of Chemists.
I would ask you to recommend this initiative to the Coordinators of the Degree Classes in Chemistry.
