The PhD students in Computer Science are pleased to invite you all to the Computer Science Workshop 2019, which will take place on June 11, 2019.
The main focus of the workshop is research in Computer Science.
In particular providing a grasp of what is the vast and complex world of computer science research to those that are familiar with it and also to those that are not. As science enthusiasts, we strongly believe that communication is one of the key point of progress.
Keynote speakers:
- Ugo Dal Lago from Università di Bologna, theoretical computer science;
- Rafael Bordini from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, multi-agents systems;
- Battista Biggio from Università di Cagliari, adversarial machine learning;
- Georg Gottlob, Oxford University and TU Vienna, database theory and query languages.
The event includes a poster session where Computer Science PhD students will present their work and the results achieved so far. During the session a light lunch will be offered to all the registered participants.
The event is sponsored by three companies present in our territory: ICONICS, ETT and SOFTECO. During the event members of the companies will be there to present their business goals and for recruitment.
