The first of two documentaries made by the University of Genoa as a contribution to the annual Memorial Day celebrations takes Fabrizio Benente and Massimo Minella to Pian di Coreglia; from here, on January 21, 1944, 20 Italian Jewish citizens were deported to Auschwitz.
