A maximum number of 15 (fifteen) candidates will be selected at the Department of Law for admission to the international mobility program for the award of the double degree, on the basis of the existing Agreement between the Department of Law of the University of Genoa and the Faculté de Droit et Science Politique of the Université Côte d'Azur of Nice (France) and for the allocation of 5 (five) scholarships to finance the period of mobility.

This Agreement provides that the Department of Law annually selects students enrolled in the third year of the single-cycle Master of Science in Law (Genoa and Imperia campus) in the academic year 2020/2021.

Students enrolled in the third year of the three-year degree course in Legal Services to Business and Public Administration may also apply, provided that they transfer from the three-year degree course to the fourth year of the single-cycle master's degree course for the academic year 2021/2022.

The students will spend the fourth year (a.y. 2021/2022, from September 2021 to July 2022) at the Faculté de Droit et Science Politique of the Université Côte d'Azur, taking the exams provided for in the integrated study plan, approved by the partner universities, to allow all participants to follow the same path of higher education. The integrated study plan favours the possibility for students to complete their university course within the established timeframe, through the agreed recognition of training credits for all activities carried out at the partner location.

At the end of the program, participants from the Department of Law will obtain two degrees:

- Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico in Giurisprudenza (University of Genoa)

- Licence Droit (Université Côte d'Azur)

Students will be selected on the basis of their university curriculum (number of exams taken and average grade obtained), their motivation to participate in the program and their knowledge of French. In any case, candidates who do not demonstrate a level of French language equal to at least B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) cannot be included in the ranking.

Before departure, students must have obtained at least 120 CFU from the University of Genoa.

The double degree programme does not entail enrolment costs, but does not automatically provide for financial contributions for transport and accommodation in Nice.

For the academic year 2021/2022, the five (5) best ranked candidates in the merit list will be entitled to a financial contribution from UNIGE to finance the mobility in presence for a maximum duration of eleven (11) months.
