EBM represents the most important revolution of the cultural model occurred in medicine in the last decades, introducing methodologies for the production and analysis of quality information to support decision-making processes in regulation and clinical practice.

10 years after the death of Alessandro Liberati, one of the greatest interpreters of EBM at the international level, as well as independent research and patient involvement in them, this seminar aims to analyze the contribution of EBM to the current regulatory system with particular reference to the management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
