On Thursday, November 21, in the Hall of Representation of the City of Genoa, the Zonta 2019 prize was awarded to Gabriella Garbarino, RtdB Researcher at the DICCA.
This Prize, awarded by Area 03 D30 of Zonta International, was established in order to develop scientific research activities and to enhance the excellence of the said activities of Italian, Monegasque or any other nationality citizens, provided they live and work in Area 03 D30 (Liguria, Piedmont, Principality of Monaco, Valle d'Aosta), as well as to promote the choice of their career by young women.
The Zonta Prize 2019 edition was aimed at young researchers working in the field of Chemical and Materials Engineering (Macrosector 09/D) at universities / polytechnics and other scientific institutes, companies and institutions and hospitals and public and private research centers.
