Researchers from the University of Genoa are leaving for South America to board Nave Vespucci and carry out activities under the joint project between the university and the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy.

Greeting the departing team, the vice chancellor, Nicoletta Dacrema, presented the director of the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy, Massimiliano Nannini, with a highly symbolic object: the historic coat of arms of the University of Genoa embroidered on a fragment of the Vespucci's sail, as a reminder of the ongoing collaboration and as a wish for a successful outcome.
