Conference Jiovanni Benedetto Castiglione from Genoa to Mantua

Gianluca Zanelli, Director of the National Gallery of Liguria, and Stefano L'Occaso, Director of the Ducal Palace in Mantua, present recent purchases by MIC for the two venues of important canvases by Castiglione. In particular, Giuliana Algeri, former Superintendent for the Artistic and Historical Heritage of Mantua, Cremona and Brescia and then of Liguria, will give a specific talk, entitled: The Allegory of the Gonzaga-Nevers House and the Mantuan activity of Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione.
The conference is open to all students who would like to attend.
